As mentioned before, these new requirements may mean:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;more users&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;more data &lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;moe locations (geography)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;more/different applications (documents)&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;QlikView scales in one of two directions or in both at the same time:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Horizontally&lt;/EM&gt;: more QlikView platforms distribute load across resources and/or geographical locations while maintaining a single point of entry.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Vertically&lt;/EM&gt;: more cpu's/cores, more memory and larger applications on a single platform handle growing models and more users, up to a certain point&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Peter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
