Hi,

Is it possible to store a qvd or txt file into a sftp location from Qlikview ?

I had a requirement for this functionality about a year ago (so the situation may have changed with v10) and from what I could find it isn't / wasn't possible to export to FTP/SFTP.

As a work around I exported the .qvd's locally and then used ScriptFTP kicked off via a batch file to upload to the SFTP site; ScriptFTP then downloaded them at the other end.

www.ScriptFTP.com - really useful and not too expensive either; by far the best option when I was looking.

As I said; it was last year when I looked into this so QV10/11 may address this issue.

Like Lt Columbo: 'Just one more thing...':

In the script editor try checking the 'Use FTP' checkbox under the 'Data From Files' area and then select table files; this seemingly allows you to connect to an FTP site - no idea whether it supports SFTP like ScriptFTP or if it allows uploads or just downloads.
