QV10 SR3 Bug

Inputfield with section access document and Initial Data Reduction Based on Section Access option on (Document settings/Opening), still does not work.

I hoped that the BUG mentioned in the fixed bugs list also solved my problem.

Problem is after closing/saving the document the input values are gone, in the personal edition and on the server.

Hey Jochem,

have you tried to contact QlikTech support? If so, did they solve your problem? Or were you able to find a workaround?

I reported the bug to Qlikview through my partner.

Waiting for an answer.

So you have the same problem? Good to know that it is not my own problem!

Hi Jochem,

Actually I do not have this problem yet… Yesterday I received a requirement for an app that will need this, and by coincidence I saw your thread talking about this. So I decided to get more details with you.

Unfortunately I don’t have yet a SR3 environment to test your sample file. I’ll try to do it on the next days and give you a feedback.

If you hear any news from QlikTech, could you please post it to this thread? This may help other people too.

Actually SR2 had the same problem for me.

The previous attached file does not work, because of section access. (prohibited access)

this file will work but data reduction is disabled and section access is commented in script.
