File " .qvw " no data

Good ! How are you?
When I open a " .qvw " file on the server QlikView , shows me all list boxes, graphics, but no data . Anyone know what the problem be?

It shows you empty list boxes, empty charts? Completely empty?

Does this affect only a specific QVW or all applications? All or only a single user?

How was the application published? Is there any data reduction / section access involved?

It's hard to answer your question with the information provided.

Hi,

Did your source has data? Check the data model and see whether you have any data? If there is no data reload it again and check you got the data.

Hi,

Open your QVW file and did you see any data model while in table Viewer(ctrl + T)??

If Yes then check did it have any data??

If No, then it means developer save that qvw file without data.

When you open your .qvw

Press Ctrl+T , you will data model. right click on one of the table and select preview.

-> Check if data is present or not.

If yes ,

a)check the dimensions used in side the chart.Names would have been chaged.

b)check variables being used in the expressions have been defined properly or not.

If no,

Please reload the qvw file

Hi,

Check below points :

1.Check where data coming from like if you are using binary load ,check the path of the file.

2.If you are using QVD or Excels check the paths clearly.

3.Check which type of section Access you were used.

Hello!
It happens only in QlikView , and a user. Other users can view the board with data. The development board ( .qvw ) including Script are on the server . The user can not view the data in the " .qvw " in the configuration console Figure QlikView as Administrator.

Hi,

I think this is some sever bug,

Also :

1.Restart All QV Services.

2.If it is possible Copy all the script and Variables and create new application.

I faced this issue earlier.that time I restarted all the services,Its worked for me.

Is there sections access?

If so, comment out and reload. Get them to check again?

Hello!
It is a " .qvw " file that made the developer ( all data in list boxes, objects). The user does not have permission to run the script. When you enter the " .qvw " no data displayed in the list boxes ( image attached in previous answers ) . If I enter the " .qvw " I can see all list boxes with data ( I see it ) . Users who can not view the data, and I, are as "Administrator" in the console QlikView.

HI,

Can you access the script? check if there is sections access.

To be user only I would straight away be drawn to being either accessing the wrong document or section action, but there could be other causes.

There are no restrictions of access to users in the script. They can enter the " .qvw " but can not see details .
