I'm not sure if this is even possible! However, I am new to this so will ask the question.

I want to create a sort of white board on my qlikview document. Where users can edit the text box

but have the ability to save the existing text to a word document first ?

Would this be possible within a text box ?

I would say no. Take a look at annotations and see if that is something you could use.

Emma,

in the file I attached you can find a sample of writing from QlikView to Word.

It has variuos limits (input box dimension, for example), but you can start from here.

Remember to configure the variables name with your environment, the file must be exist.

You can help yourself with other methods of word.application object (i.e. add, etc...).
