Concatenating values in a chart

Hi,

How do we concatenate a column name, new line character and column value in a stack of a stacked bar chart? In the expressions, I stated the value as ='Column name'&chr(10)&[column name]. This did not display the required result. Someone please help. Thanks in advance,

I don't understand what you're trying to do. Can you post a small qlikview document that demonstrates the problem?

Are you trying to use the value in an expression title? Without specifying which value you want, the code tries to use all them and fails.

Perhaps if you specified which value you want, with set analysis or IF statements, you could get the specific value you want displayed in the expression title.

Hi,

I'm guessing you want to display on every segment of your stacked bar the dimension value and the expression value for that segment. If this is true, then I suggest you try other ways for displaying information.

Try converting your bar chart into a Mekko chart or a Block chart. Is it better?
