Hi Experts,

Before going to my requirement I’ll first like to explain to you my scenario.

My QlikView Server is installed on Azure Virtual Machine; every time I open an 'Access Point dashboard' outside VM it asks for VM's credentials (how to avoid this?).

My dashboard has a field 'Project Manager' which is linked to all the data in the database.

My dashboard link is on the Project Web page where the project managers login and click on the link to open the dashboard.

So my requirement here is to have some kind of security so that if the project manager clicks on the link it will open the dashboard with all the data related only to his project but should not be asked to login again as they have already logged to the Project Web page.

Can someone please help me?

Thanks in Advance

Best Regards,

Bhavesh

1. Qlik recommends physical server for Qlikview prod deployment. If this problem with only QLikview application, please check Qlik support why its ask VM credentials every time.

2. By section Access implementation you can achieve data reduction & security. Please follow below thread.

A Primer on Section Access

Basics for complex authorization
