Hi, I have a question ,you may be able to share a document Qvw through "Access Point", but when entering with the same user using "Open in Server" not show document Qvw ?, I hope you can support.

The access point does not have an option to "Open in Server" that I am aware of.

Are you trying to open the document as a QVW on your local machine? If it is not showing up there, you either do not have access to the server, or the document isn't there on the server.

Do you get a connection to the server at all - and if you do do you see any documents/applications at all?

Hi Petter,I have access to the server from QlikView Desktop, which do not want is the qvw files are displayed.

Hi,

Is your server Reachable?

Make sure you use account that have access to Applications/Dashboard

Secondly if you use Open in server this user will lease License from server and make sure that this user have Named Cal.

In fact, you want to know if it's possible to authorize a user to open an application trough the access point but to forbid him to open it trough QV.EXE. That's it?

I have done recently the opposite, giving access only with the "Open in server" and not via the access point. But in your way I don't see the solution.

Hi Victor,

You can open the Qlik document as open in server only if licence lease option is enabled in Qlikview server.
