Hi All

I have installed qlikview server which was succefully installed , now when iam trying to access through the Access point iam not able to login to it with any user name , accept with the server name ,

Do i need to make any setting so that users also can login to the Accees point.

I have NUMBER_OF_USERCALS;25;;

Document CALs :100.

Can some one help me please , i went trhough many of the links provided but not able to access the ACCESS POINT using user name and password .

So you are only able to login directly at the server? Not from any other computer in the network?

Then it is most likely a firewall setting. To allow users to connect you will have to configure the firewall to allow connections on port 80 (HTTP).

ser is trying to access from their computer which is within the domain , but yet they are not able to login to access point.

And i dont see any of the qlikview services unders " Servicess .msc "

There might be multiple reasons for the issue with access point not able to login...

Is your application having section access enabled?

Have you turned off the firewall?

Are you behind any proxy?

Have you checked the QlikView and QvAjaxZfc Virtual folders to make sure both are set for only Windows Authentication?

HI Sreeni ,

Yes before the server was connected to workgroup at that time I had used Section Access , but now the serer is joined with the domain .

Can you please let me know how do we disable the Section Access .

All the servicess are runing now

What do you mean by "I dont see any of the QlikView Services under Services.msc" ...

Do you mean that you cant see them on the QlikView Server? You can't actually find the entries for the normally 5 services starting with QlikView as a name?

They should definitely be there and they also need to be running.

Did you install QlikView Server when the computer was in a workgroup and then later joined a domain? Then that could be a problem.

If you can see the services but they are not running it could be the account that they are running under and that the password has changed for that account.

if any one want to see their reduced data then section access is must

comment the section access and go to setting ->document->opening->check initial data reduction based on section access if its working mean un comment the section access and check

before doing this take a backup of ur file it will be helpful if its ur current file got corro upted
