Adjacent Month Display

Hi,

I need to come up with an analytic which shows same employee charging to two different functions within 3 months period.

E.g. employee number 1234 charging his hours to IT in March 2017 and to Finance in May 2017. So basically, the employee number and the year remains the same but the function changes and preferably to see within 3 months.

So the output will look like

Emp no	Year	Month	Function
1234	2017	3	IT
1234	2017	5	Finance

Appreciate any suggestion/help

I would but I think that might be slightly trickier to execute, so I thought of getting the immediate next or previous month output. Pls feel free to give it a shot if it's easy

What exactly does that mean? We should see a personnel only if they have been working in another function for more than 3 months? I am not really sure I follow the requirement for 3 months?

So if the employee is charging to another function in a gap of 3 months, so it could be IT in March and Finance in either April, May or June ( within 3 months)
