I want to see home tab whenever i open the application

now its opening the tab that is previously seen

Clear all and then save the document this will do. If still there then may be some action set at sheet level or at opening of document.

Hi,

Go to Settings > Document Properties > Triggers > Click OnOpen (Add Action(s) ) > Click on Add > Then Click on Layout > Then Activate Sheet > Enter the Home sheet ID or whatever Name you've given the home sheet. Click OK

Please send us screen shot so we can understand your problem. Also if you are not able to see home page clear all field and selection and go to home page and save, probably you can see your home page

There is a button to force this behaviour without changing your document.

In the AccessPoint, select list display for the documents. Expand the tree for the document you want to open and click the "Remove last document state" button.

OnOpen in AP: it seemed to work for this community member: Default Sheet Display

This behaviour is part of the QlikView Server setting 'Allow Setting Recovery'. This option creates a bookmark for each user with the last opened sheet and last selections. The only way to start always with your homepage is by disabling this option:

What isn't working? Have you saved your QVW with the home tab activated? Try to delete the .shared file and open the document again.

i saved my qvw with home tab using onopen action ->activate sheet

working fine in desktop but in accesspoint it is not working

tried your suggestion still it is not working

So, you disabled the session recovery option in the QMC and you deleted the .shared file connected to your document? Do you see bookmarks for that document in the QMC?

i don want to del .shared file cos i have many bookmarks that i use daily

Place that frequent use bookmarks in your QVW! You could temporary rename the .shared file and test again. Your .shared file contains the tab you opened last so if you want to start always on the home you must edit your .shared file. Because there isn't an editor your the .shared files the only option is to delete it (or rename it for testing purposes)!

Remember : disabling the recovery option touches all your documents! If the connection with the QlikView Server is lost for some reason the active sessions of each user will be lost. They need to start over with making their selections.
