How to host qlikview app to qlikview server?

Hey,

I have make a qlikview appplication and now want to host it over qlikview server so that it can be visible to users.

How can i do this?

copy the qvw file and paste it on the server location

Do you have Qlikview Server?

The QlikView server provides users access to QVW files through a web access point, where the files can be openend and used through an Internet Explorer Plugin or AJAX client (HTML + JavaScript).

Copy the QVW to a mounted folder or any folder beneath the QV Server root folder.

Hi Nikhil,

You can handle security in qlikview in different ways, depending if you have Publisher or not.

First you need to know where to place your file. To do this, go to Qlikview Management Console (QMC). Go to the "System" tab, then click on Qlikview Server in the left pane, and navigate to the "Foldes" tab. There, you'll be able to see the folder where your file should be placed.

After this, you can assign licences to your users for this particular document.

Hey,

Thanks i go thru the link and what i observed is :

If i have make a qlikview application on DEV Server and saved it on Dev server under path:

D:/Qlikview/QlikviewApp

Then in Root Folder i have to put the same path i.e. D:/Qlikview/QlikviewApp Is it so?

And also what i have to put in mounted folder path?
