Hi, Serve

I believe you can use QV 11 Alternate States:

The document and the applications can help explain and demonstrate how to use it:

http://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-2112

http://community.qlik.com/qlikviews/1194

Regards,

Erich

Hello all,

I need to implement some special case. For example, I have a sheet which contain some charts, tables and which are using one datasource. Each element on the sheet is using it's own expression. But I need to filter the data in a certain way for a whole sheet at once, not only for one element. Is it possible create a statement for a sheet, which will apply only once, and all elements on this sheet will use the filtered data then?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you mean by filtering your data, are you talking of something like a filtering by selecting in fields, e.g. using list boxes?

These should affect all objects by default, if your expressions don't use set expressions or alternate states, which can prevent your objects from being affected.

Does your filter needs to be dynamic i.e. changeable (by user)?

And now I want something like a group or namespace, which will be unavailable for user, but this group or namespace should provide something like general pre-assigned filter for initial datasource.

P.S. This filter sholdn't be dynamic one.
