What is the use of DIrectory Service Connector in QMC ? what does it do ???

Hi,

The Directory Service Connector (DSC) is the service that connects to user repositories such as Active

Directory or LDAP. It communicates on port 4750. The service address is

http://servername:4730/DSC/Service.

Thanks for the reply Gabriel ,

Just one more question if have no domain (Active Directory ) but have implemented Section Access how does the Directory Service Connector works ? how do wee need to give the user name and password to get access on Access point ?

AD is one of the option for User management.

Other than this, their are two possible ways in my opinion:

1) You can create the list os user into Excel and can integrate to your QVW.

2) You can define list of user on server where you have installed QVS and with the use of OSUser()/QVUser() you can integrate into QMC.
