Pdf Report - File Name

Hi all,

I am able to distribute Pdf Reports via e-mail. But the Pdf Report generated is named as the QVW file from which it is coming. I have 4 different Pdfs coming out of same QVW. Is it a possibility of renaming the pdf as the name given in QVW file for creating the report? If Yes,

Then how?

Example:

I have a QVW file name Test.qvw which contains 4 pdf reports named Pdf1, Pdf2, Pdf3, Pdf4.

But while with Pdf distribution the name of file is Test.pdf Test.pdf Test.pdf and Test.pdf.

How can i change the name of these Test.pdf to their respective original name given in QVW file.

Hi,

In a similar case I used PdfCreator and the solution are genrating 4 reports independents

How will it help in Distribution via email? Can u please explain the scenario you faced.

in PDFCreator you have the possibility of distributing a report in pdf via mail

The report are created by QV

Ok. But does it automatically takes the Pdf Report Name given in the QVW file?

OK,

When you install PDFCreator, exist a new printer to create pdf report.

In QV you define your report and assign this printer

In PDFCreator you can the posibility to send mails (many destiny) when the report is created

The option to change Pdf Name is in distribute Tab of the task.
