Hi,

While fetching data from SAP it is giving error in Log file...

Error Creation of function /QTQVC/OPEN_STREAM failed after 00:00:00 Key = RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER (Invalid parameter 'RFC_FUNCTION_DESC_HANDLE' was passed to the API call)

Please Help.

Hi,

Does that reload fine when you do it using the Desktop? When you create the connection and test it does it return any error?

Pls check assigned role in SAP.

As per My experience, role is not properly assigned.

Hi,

I checked while making connection it does'nt give error. It gives error on select statement.

Pop up of Script line error.

But in log file it is

where can I find QTQVCACCESS.

Is it from SAP saide or in qlikview server???

Hi,

It's in the SAP server. You will need to use transaction PFCG, check that the role exists and is working fine. Check transaction SU01 to make sure the users you are connecting as are assigned to the role QTQVACCESS.

If you are not in charge of the SAP systems, download the QlikView Connector Manual and give it to the SAP people in your company. There is a detailed step by step guide on how to set up the system to make it work.

After transporting file in sap . this role is created automatically. sap basis person have to assign this role to used id which is created for data extraction.
