Change the url for access point

Hi,

I would like to change the default URL for QlikView access point without writing the qlikview folder name in the url

instead of

I want this to work as

how can i do this?

One part of your question already works in the default QlikView set-up: you can omit the index.htm altogether when visiting the AccessPoint.

The second part - getting rid of the /qlikview/ part is very simple too:

In QMC, navigate to System->Setup->QlikView Web Servers->yourwebserver->Web
In section "Root Folders", add a new entry with an empty Name and Path set to the same value as for entry=QLIKVIEW
Do not forget to click the Apply button

From that very moment on, you'll be able to navigate to the AP using url http://server1/
