Hi,

I am trying to write an expression withing a alternate state called 'unallocted'

What I want is everything selected in [ABC] and always include Unknown, but I keep seeing the expression ok but a red line under the 'U'

Where and I going wrong?

count({$<[ABC]=[ABC]+{'Unknown'}>} [Reference])

also trying

count({$<[|ABC]=[ABC]+{Unknown}>} [Reference])

What is unknown? A value under ABC field??

Yes its a value, just text in a field {ABC]

There is nothing wrong with the first expression, sometimes QV will give you that red line even when the syntax is correct, just validate if your results are the ones you want and don't worry by the syntax checker
