We are running a qlikview script that basically creates a Master Calendar table. It takes 3 seconds to load on a Laptop and 51 seconds in the Server, using the same QlikView Client version (QV10 SR2 x64).

It is important to note that the server has 512 GB of RAM and 4 Octacore processors, while my humble laptop has 6GB of RAM and one Core 2 Duo.

I would like to figure out what is causing this performance drop and what should I check on the Server settings to ensure a better performance.

Attached is a PowerPoint presentation that illustrates the tests I made with screenshots.

If you come up with any idea about how can we work this out, it would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

Mike.
