I've run into an issue where I have multiple vertical reference lines which can overlap.

I've tried to change the label to include either carriage returns or line feeds CHR(13) or CHR(10), but that seems to push the text to the right as well as move it up. That distorts which reference line the label is referring to and can be confusing.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to change the location of the label on the reference line?

Erich-

I had tried that, but if you notice that the label moved both up and to the right.

My problem is that if 2 reference lines are close together, the label would move to the right so much that it would look like it was the label for the other reference line.

I have to plot 3 lines so if you put the chr(10) on the 5 instead of the Test it would look like the second line is actually 5 and not Test.

I would use a legend or the 'Text in Chart' feature. Take a look at the attachment - I played around with a couple of options and I think the best one is the Text in Chart method.

The one that uses the transparent chart probably looks the best as this is most likely the desired output. But I hate using transparent objects and there are too many drawbacks when using charts like this - doesn't look perfect, can't click on the bars on the lower chart etc.
