I am a newbie in Qlikview and this is my first Post in the Community.

I am trying something like this.

Is this possible.

I am tring with Monthstart Function but not getting desired result.

I do not know if I understand correctly

What you mean is you want to get for each month since the beginning of the month until the day (number) of the current month?

Something like that?

This is Perfect.

But Is there a way with Set Analysis.

I don't want to use Makedate() Function.

This Solution Works with Current Year.

If I have to show data forPast Years than...........???

Set analysis is for filtering data and your post did not ask how to filter -- you just asked about how to construct dates and the answer to your question used makedate.

If you want to filter based on these dates, I suggest that you create a new post, showing what it is you want to filter, whether its in the back end or front - and if in front, in what sort of object (text box table dimension, table expression etc). A qvw with data (or a representative sample) would also help to better understand your requirements.
