Custom Format Cell not working on headers

I've been using the Custom Format Cell feature to define the look and feel of some straight table charts in my apps, I have had it working in the past, but now it seems be preventing me from changing the format of the headers.

As you can see from the attached .qvw file, I have set the headers to being a dark pink colour with white, bold text and the dimension to being a lighter pink with white text. The dimension is formatting correctly, but the revised format of the header isn't being displayed. If you go to the "Custom Format Cell" menu, it has retained the formats I have defined, but it doesn't appear to be applying them.

Has anyone come across this before? I am using Qlikview 10, Service Release 1

Check the attached file. Header format can be changed into legend.

Thanks, but I'm not quite sure I see what you're getting at. I notice that you've changed the colour of the "Caption", but the column headers remain a light grey colour when the properties in the "Custom Format Cell" menu define them as dark pink.

Have I missed something? Could it be my set up? Could you provide a screen shot of what you've produced, just so I can confirm whether or not it's a problem at my end?

Seems to work if I change the chart to a pivottable and then change back to a straight table after doing the custom cell format....not sure why.

Thanks, just tried this and it worked for me as well. Very strange.

Seems like a bit of a bug, but I can get to the result I want, so it's progress at least.

Actually the issue is that in order to be able to format the header, it looks like you to have expression totals. Once you format the cells you can then eliminate them. I believe this is a Qlik bug.

I am attaching an example which explores these possiblities.

1) A straight able with custom color.

2) a chart with no totals and the custom color was set when there were no totals

3) the same as chart (2) but showing the totals of an expression (note the color was put on the totals line)

4) chart where expressions were showing and the custom color was set.

5) chart (4) with expressions now hidden.
