what are the limitations of pivot table and straight table?explain clearly?

Pivot Table

Better at grouping: you can easily see which group a specific row belongs to, you have subtotal.

display like a cross table (one or several horizontal dimensions).

Sorting is less favourable you have to sort it according to the first dimension, then according to the next, etc.

Straight Table

You can sort it according to any column.

Subtotals are not possible, for instanc

In Straight table You can not do the grouping In pivot we can.

In straight we can do accumulation but not in pivot.

In straight we can give the column label but not in pivot.

In straight we can drag and drop the columns but not in pivot.

We can also suppress the header row in straight which is not possible in pivot table.

We can do interactive sorting in straight but not in pivot table.

In straight you can make mini charts but in pivot it is not possible.
