Two Different Time Dimensions On The Same Table

I have a table with a 'Start Date' field and an 'End Date' field.

I want to be able to select months and years relating to both fields on the same time on a dashboard.

So for example, select all contracts that started in 2014 and have a contract end date greater than a month and year.

I understand how to create a calendar/time table and link it to one field but in this case where I have two separate time

dimensions, would I need to create two calendar/time tables?

One linked to each field?

Just want to make sure I am not missing a concept here.
