Problem in expression

Hello,

In my attached app, i have a column SalesDI.

When all columns are expanded, under SalesDI ,Yes or No values should be displayed.

When Only R1 and D1 are displayed and all other dimensions collapsed, under SalesDI, count of people having PopUpValue= 1 should be there.

Issue is , when all dimensions are expanded, under SalesDI column, i am having numerical value showing sum of 'Yes' values.

I tried removing the total but couldn't do it.

What you want cannot be done. The dimensionality of a subtotal doesn't change by collapsing or expanding a dimension. And there is no way in an expression to determine if a dimension value is collapsed or not. Perhaps you can use two different pivot tables, one with only R2 and D1 and one with all the dimensions.

Maybe this is a case where you have to convince you end-user that QlikView works better if you do things the QlikView way, instead of trying to turn QlikView into a box of Legos whch it is not. Try to change the requirements.
