Hello. I have a question regarding the way qlikview choses data. For ex, i have this table

value----product-----color

$1--------water--------no

$2-------soda---------no

$3-------cola----------no

if i chose the analysis to be like this:

value-------color

which "product" value will qlikview choose?

i mean the first product will be chosen or it'll bring the average ?

i know it's illogical analyzing data this way or it's wrong, but I have to make the color row the main row for categorizing the data, so which product?

It will show 3 different value for same color "No". And if you are trying to get a single value as result, it will return Null only.

Hi,

Qlikview will show the associated data when you select some values only.

Here i understood is value, Product, color are fields. When you selects the values from fields it will shows the associated ones are in white remaining are in grey.

For eg;

if you select $1 from value the qlikview shows water from product and no from color are in white.

Please find the sample file for your clarification .
