topic QMC in QlikView

hi Guys

I have deployed a dashboard into the qlikview server , i can see it on access point and QMC , but under QMC when i try to add user under Documents Cal it says too many document cal assigned , I then even typed 8 under Call Assign , and when i try to add the user and type the name under User Management it is not showing any thing ?

Can some one help me out ?

Hello!

First of all you have to increase "number of CALs allocated to this Document" and press "Apply"

And the second step is adding users.

Hi Andy Please find the error message , i kept on changing the call assign numbers but to i get the same error message.

You only have 1 cal free to assign out of your total of 10. Remove the added users, then increase the cals assigned to the doc and then add the user allocation back again.

You my not be able to remove those assigned to users straight away if they have been in use, but the click on the red cross to delete then click apply. If they don't go straight away, leave it for a day, finish deleting them , increase the cals assigned to the doc, then re assign the cals to the users....

Hi Andy Followed your instructions , i deleted the whole application , and added new dashboard , but for that also iam not able to assign cals , its is giving the same error message too many call allocated , it is taking only 1 , i dont understand now

You can't do that, you must remove any cals BEFORE you delete / move / rename a qvw. Recreate the original again etc.

Just a thought, have you done the above before? Check you USER documents list in QMC and make sure you don't have any files listed where the name is ALL IN CAPS. If you have, you need to recreate the apps listed in the folder they where in; it's case sensitive, and remove any doc cals assigned to them
