help with sum in straight table

I created a straight table in which I added 5-6 expressions now I want to have a total for those respective columns.

In the total mode ,I want to have sum as "Expression total" but when I do that I am getting "-" as total and when i am selecting "sum of rows" it is working fine,even though there are some nulls in the rows.However I want it as expression total (so as to match the total sum and also because it does not change with selection of the rows).

What does your expression look like? Can you share the list of your expressions?

Hi,

you are selecting the total you want on the "expressions" tab of the dialog, right?

Could you post your app or at least tell us what are your expressions?

That would make it easier to make an educated guess at why it's not working.

It might have to do with the NULL values - is there a numeric 0 or are those cells just blank or what is in there?
