An Excel data source (especially when talking about a single file) on average doesn't carry &amp;gt;1 million records. Moreover, reading files is less costly than reading through a network pipe.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you time your script as it is reading the entire file?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hey Guys,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have Data source in Excel Form, which is placed at FTP.. Now on daily basis these excel reports are updating..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scenario1- Some times Whole 2 year data is Replaced&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scenario2- Out of two Year only one year data is replaced.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scenario3 - Out of two year only 3 month Data is replaced.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In All three Scenario new Data will Append into Excel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In Scenario1 - I only required to Reload my application and all data will come..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But in Scenario 2 and Scenario 3 How i can do automated Data reload??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in Advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Abhay&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
