Adding external users to AccessPoint

Hi Experts:

Please note, we have got a server license for EE version. Now we need to give external users access to AccessPoint.

Please also note, the following services are up & running and the users from AD can access the AccessPoint.

Can you please suggest?

Hello Shafi,

You need to do it through Custom Directory in your DSC.

This document is very helpful.

I need one clarification, if do the above attached settings in my qmc then

Is there any access problem will come to the users who are already in Active directory and

Accessing the reports?

Currently am using qv 11 EE and ntfs authentication.

Hi Ajay:

If you change the settings, the users in active directory will not be able to access through Access Point. You will need to create users for the existing ones.

Is there any way to continue with existing AD users access and also with adding of new users which are not in AD group?

Hi Ajay:

The process we followed doesn't allow two types of authorization. In the screenshot below you will find that the options are mutually exclusive.
