When we want to use them and what is the usage of them??

by using cross table,any point of time

1. we can move objects rows as columns and wise versa.

2. we see partial sums

3. drill up/down groups.

Hi,

crosstable load is used when the column data needs to be converted as row data ,

eg:

A,B,C

1,2,3

4,5,6

to convert like

Measure,value

A,1

A,4

B,2

B,5

C,3

C,6

Join's are used when you need to combine to different table as single table , it's completely dependent on the your requirement .

eg,

A,B

1,2

and table 2

A,C

1,3

if you perform join(outer join ) on this

A,B,C

1,2,3

how would I use a cross table to load this please:-

under each month is the targets that I need to load per team_id and the consultant id(i.e. the second column)
