Is Qlik Alerting compatible with mashup ?

is qlik alerting compatible with mashups ? can we open a mashup instead of an application ?

Conceptually, sure. We've rigged it up inside of iFrames embedded in a CRM on our end. The principle is the exact same, although you need to be sure that the user who is accessing the integration can reach the Qlik Alerting server.

Ok thank you, it works with iFrame.

In the video, we can see that qlik alerting generate a link to the application.

Can we modify this link, for exemple to open the mashup and not the Qlik application ?

The extension will not work on a mashup currently but you can use the Qlik Alerting web application to create alerts off the base app(s) that are feeding the mashup.

OK thanks, but can you confirm that the link in the alert could be modified ?

If the user of a mashup receive an alert, it will be extra if the link open the mashup and not the source application.

If is not possible is it plan ?

It's possible to alter the custom notification template for the alert. I haven't tested it but I assume by replacing {{appLink}}, (search for appLink in the template), with a manually added mashup link would achieve what you're looking for:

Ok thanks, it's possible but you lose the context if you replace {{appLink}}.

But maybe there is a way to pass selection in my angular mashup. I will work on it !

I really love the concept of Qlik Alerting 😀

Not yet we are not in the saas for the moment (working on it) and don't have qlik alerting.
