Hello

I am using a Sense chart as Image in a Pixel Perfect report template.

In this case it is a Sankey chart. In the final pdf output some of the labels are not shown due to the size of the object (see below)

If I remember well, in NPrinting you can play with the object size to avoid this issue. With the new PP template, I couldn't get the labels to be visible.
I tried with all the the options of the "Sizing" property: Normal, Stretch Image, Auto-Size, Center Image, Zoom Image, Squeeze, Tile, Cover.
But no way, it seems this option does not make any difference to the final result (only "Tile" has an effect, but of course it does not help in this case).

The object size is already set to the whole page. If I try to increase the height of the object, the image get split in two or more pages in the final result.

The only workaround I found is to set the page size to a bigger format (A3). In this case, all the labels are visible.

Any hint?

Thanks

Paolo

Hi,

Testing the sizing option is the correct way.

Instead of changing the size to A3 you could try to reduce the borders size in an A4 and increase the size of the image.

As alternative you can increase the size of the image and go over the borders, the placeholder will be highlighted in red but it should work. In all cases.

Sizing options are explained in Qlik NPrinting help site at https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/February2024/Content/NPrinting/ReportsDevelopment/Image-Dimension-Management.htm#anchor-3 and they should work in the same way in cloud reporting (I asked to copy those information also in the cloud help site).

Best Regards,

Grazie Ruggero

I already tried by reducing margins and increasing the image size, but it is not enough to show the labels.

I see that even old NPrinting Pixel Perfect template does not allow to overcome this issue with "Data Displayed Width", "Data Displayed Height", "Max Width", "Max Height" parameters, as in Excel and PPT template.

So, I guess that definitely the only solution in my scenario is to use an A3 page size.

Regards
Paolo
