Qlik Sense Alert Configuration Not Migrating to Shared Space

Hello everyone,
I’ve developed an app in Qlik Sense Cloud and configured several alerts, which were working correctly during initial testing in my personal space. However, after publishing the app from personal space to the shared space, the application runs smoothly, but the alerts are no longer triggering.

Upon inspecting the alert configuration, I noticed that the data source still references my personal space. I would appreciate any guidance on how to ensure that alerts are correctly transferred and remain functional when the app is published or updated in a shared space.

Hello,

You must be enabled by your tenant admin to create alerts inside the shared space, then you can create a new alert inside the application 😊

Thanks for sharing @FedericoDellAcqua. While we do have the option to create alerts in all types of spaces (Managed and Shared), there seems to be a limitation when an app containing alerts is published from one space to another—the alerts do not carry over to the new space.

Use Case Example:

Managed Space A: App XYZ has 2 alerts configured.
When App XYZ is published to Shared Space B, those alerts are no longer available -- indicating they aren’t transferred during the publishing process.

Additionally, while exploring the app properties, I noticed there's no option to move (only publish) an app from a Managed Space to a Shared Space. The "move" option only appears to be available from Personal Space to Managed Space.

Could you clarify whether this is expected behavior based on Qlik's standard functionality? And is there a way to customize or configure the environment so that both publish and move options are available between spaces based on user preferences?
