Hello Team,

I am currently working on updating our KPI for January 2026. However, I realized that the graph representation is not continuous. For example, if I selected year 2024 and 2025, it only shows Jan to Dec in the graph, and I think the KPIs are average for both months in these years. I like my graph to show it continuously. I want it to show as Nov 2024, Dec 2024, Jan 2025, Feb 2025 and so forth. What do I need to do and update?

Thank you!

I your graph you've two dimensions year and month.

In order to get a simgle line showing Jan 2024, Feb 2024,...,Dec 2025 you would need to construct such a dimension and replace it with the two current dimensions.

1. Create a new dual dimension. I would do it in the load script (master calendar) like this monthname(my_date_field) as [Month year]

2. Then remove the Year and Month from the line chart

3. Add the new [Month year] dim to the line chart. (Make sure the chart is sorted by your new field numerical and not alphabetical, nor by measure value)
