Hello,
When executing a scheduled report task, the cloud-side reporting service evaluates backend data evaluation using default U.S. regional settings (EN-US) rather than inheriting the user session or load script environment settings (ThousandSep / DecimalSep). openskycc While the online preview renders using your active browser session context, the server-side rendering engine defaults to standard English formatting conventions for HTML output generation.
Best Regards

Dear Qlik Support team,

My question does not concern Qlik Automate, but in-app report tasks in Qlik Cloud.

I have set up a report task that distributes the same content in two formats: an Excel template and an HTML template. In the HTML output, numbers are always formatted with U.S. regional settings (comma as thousands separator, period as decimal separator), although our environment uses European settings.

What I have observed so far:

- In the app itself, all numbers are displayed correctly. The regional settings in the load script are configured accordingly (ThousandSep = '.', DecimalSep = ',').
- In the Excel output, the format is correct as well.
- In the report preview of the HTML template, the numbers are also formatted correctly. The U.S. format only appears in the HTML output generated by the scheduled report task.
- The "Keep source formats" option is enabled for the table columns in the HTML template. Even when the separators are set explicitly in the measure expression, e.g. Num(<expression>, '#.##0', ',', '.'), the HTML output of the report task still uses U.S. separators.
- Unlike the PDF output, the report task does not seem to offer a "Regional format settings" option for HTML output.

My questions:

1. Which regional setting does the report task use when generating HTML output?
2. How can I configure the HTML output to use a comma as decimal separator and a period as thousands separator (e.g. 1.234,56)?
3. If this is currently not configurable, is there a recommended workaround, or is this feature planned?

Thank you very much for your support.

Kind regards
