please can anyone explain with simple examples for trunk branch tag and difference  between them and usage also

I guess you talking about SVN repo.

For the SVN:

trunk - this is the main line of the development.

branch - is the "branch" from the main line (trunk) done in some time point and could be used for development some extra functionality/ bugfix etc.
