Publishing the Qlik sense over Internet

Dear All,

we installed only Qlik Sense Server on Windows Server 2008 R2.

and from Management Console imported the Qvf files and able to see them from hub.

now we want to publish Qlik Sense over the internet public IP is assigned to server ,so please can some help me what are the all changes need to be done on Qlik Sense Management console do to publish .

and list of the things need to be done from Network Department.

Mukram,

the network department only need to open the following ports:

- 80 (http)

- 443 (https)

- 4244 (https)

- 4248 (http)

For session integration you also need to open the 4243 port.

Another way could be using a VPN connection.

These ports can be changed depends on QMC settings.

@Mohammed: What do you mean under publish?

                         Your Hub is not available through public internet?

That's right. The ports 80,443,4244 and 4248 are the default in Sense Server installation but you can change it.

I mean the configured ports must be opened to allow Internet access.

pls check all ports are in listing status and accessible. Also all ports  should be allowed to access from the firewall on the server where you installed Qlik. if no rule exist then add a rule to the fire wall so that ports are allowed to access
