Qlik Sense Date range picker

Hi ,

I am using Qlik sense date range picker in an application that gives date range from min and max of my field.

I would like to disable the dates from filter selection which are not associated with input date field.

For eg:

I have transaction recorded for 07/04/2019 and i do not have transaction for 07/05/2019.

Hence in date range picker, 07/05/2019 should be displayed as disabled for selection.

In short, how to disable the unassociated dates in date range picker extension. Help me please.

Hi Moonisha,

Which version of Qlik Sense are you using?

I am using Enterprise April 2019 patch 1. In this version it is default to show it like you describe.

That is good to know . But anyway I am using Qlik Sense Enterprise June 2018 Patch 3. 

Is there way to view in such way by using this version of Sense?

I found the same functionality with climb selection extension but i prefer to have date range picker for its visual appearance.

Let me know if there is any other feature that will meet my demand.

Yes there is. The new Qlik date range picker is based on this extension from Branch.

I used to use this, but since it is native in Qlik now, I don't.

Hi Vaisgaard,

I am using date range picker extension. But the problem what I'm facing is------

when atleast 1 record is present in the selected date range, there is no issue

when I select a date range within which i do not have any record to display, all other filters are getting reset.

That is why I am looking for disabling the unassociated dates. In my version of Qlik Sense, it is not disabling it by default.

Hi Moonisha,

As far as I can tell, you cannot do that in the Branch Date Range Picker. I have checked the documentation for the .js library it is based on. I could not find a way to do what you are asking.
