Show a note for specific values(outliers) of data in the visualization window

Hi Team,

I am developing a qlik sense app and need to show/comment the user about particular data or outliers.

The example depicts a class room environment and the allocation of students. Further, each class room may occupy by a lecturer and if yes, the students may get additional support from the Support staff other than the lecturer. Further, to operate the technical devices of the class room, there has to be a technician for each class too.

However, there can be situations where some of the support staff/ technician may occupy a class room to do some activities other than teaching. These have been referred to as outliers. These outliers sometimes can be genuine as the staff may be performing some value adding activity. Need to identify the non-value adding staff too.

Please refer the below screenshot of the scenario described above, (please refer the highlighted row)

Just wondering the best option to provide a small note on these outliers please (both value adding and non-value adding). For an example, when you hover over or click on the said outlier, a pop-up window providing a small description about the respective value. The data is in a pivot table format. ('No Category' refers  to no class room being allocated to a particular lecturer, so no students will be there in the said class room).

I would rather prefer achieving the above task without adding a new dimension column to the above table, since it only relates to a few data records.

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Hi All,

Thought of providing a small clarification on the above.

Number of Classes in a classroom -->  For example, in a morning session (AM), one classroom may occupy to conduct multiple number of classes. On 15 of June, Classroom 2 has had 5 SCIENCE classes during the morning session (the length/time of a class could vary) by a single lecturer.

Hope this will provide more clarity.

Thank you.

Andrew
