I am the beginner in Qlikview Server, we have installed Qlikview server with license for Named user-5 and DocCal-10
I have many doubts in this server. I have read server reference manual but it is not more relevant in step by step...
so my questions are
1. First I need to assign the Named user license for five users. my doubt is can we assign the 5 named user license to 5 user at a time? if yes pls tell me how?
2. To assign doc-cal license, i need to click on document and go to doc-cal tab, and assign the cal to doc, and assign the user to doc.
So, my doubt is, how a particular user log in to access point and have only access to that particular assigned document?, whether we need to assign any user name and password to the user whom have assigned doccals in the QMC? pls clarify this too..
3.From the Qlikview Desktop, we can use open in server option to use accesspoint, there we are getting some error...
"Failed to Reach Server XXXXXX
Switching to HTTP Tunneling
Connected to Server ok, security settings denies access"
4. While using NT identity for logging to access point from our desktop, we get the following error..
now i got clarified with the first two questions, am able to assign the named user cal for five users at a time, but if i delete any named user, it may take 24 hr to quarantine. Second, I have assigned 10 doc cals to 10 users, i have assigned username and password for them in the user list, so if any particular user logs into different document, he may get error.
So i am clarified by trying myself with my colleagues.
But till my another two questions are pending, am facing these issues, i dont know why it is coming.
Please can anyone of this Qlikbug members help me!
