Passing Logged in Epic User ID to QlikView Dashboard

Hello,

We have several Epic Radar components that contain hyperlinks to QlikView dashboards.

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully passed the logged in Epic User ID to a QV dashboard when clicking a radar hyperlink, and utilized that within the QV dashboard as security?

Yes. Dozens of organizations have this set up.

Are you using Citrix clients to access Epic Hyperspace? We have an additional module for Epic and QlikView (or Qlik Sense) that needs to be configured.

Otherwise, Qlik will use the Windows AD account of the machine to login, so it is tied to the Windows user on the machine where Hyperspace is accessed.

Joe, Correct, we are using Citrix clients to access Hyperspace.  We got the initial authentication to work, but I'm guessing additional module needs to be implemented/ configured.  Joe W, could you help me out with that setup?

I spoke to Alie at our Epic XGM party last night about this. Yes - we've built an Epic SSO integration for shared workspaces (often Citrix clients) that can be configured. We'll reach out with more details.

We are trying to configure this at CHNw but are getting hung up as well.

Is there a plug-in that needs to be installed to leverage this or is there simply configuration in Epic/SSO server that needs to be done?
