We firstly want to thank you for all of the powerful work done to support organizatiosn around the globe to leverage data and the power of analytics in the responce to the COVID19 crisis. The postings on this forum in particular have been useful to drive real world solutions - thank you!
We are proud to announce the revised format for this year's QlikWorld Datathon! (Formerly known as the Hackathon and Late Night Lunacy.) The challenge is attached and you can also read here for details.
This year again we are partnering with C40 Cities to answer the challenge leveraging our skills to bring about solutions for a better world going forward. We are living in difficult times. We believe that the use of data and collaborations will not only help bring us through this crisis but will enable citizens and cities to transform in a way that is needed for a sustainable future. This type of change will also make citizens more resilient against future threats, whether climate-related or pathologic, like the current virus that has disrupted so many lives.
We need stronger collaboration to open our cities and ensure everyone’s safety. We also need powerful data and analytic tools to help our cities be more resilient to a crisis in the future. We need your skills and experience shown during the COVID-19 crisis to help!
Please read the attached challenge and participate as you can! The challenge document contains details about the data and need as well as the timeline for submissions. Top solutions will get the chance to present their solution in the QlikWorld virtual forum on June 24th and 25th for final judging by all QlikWorld 2020 participants!
Today is the day the submissions are due! We look forward to seeing so many powerful examples of data and Qlik solving one of our greatest challenges. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
