How to change font size in charts without using custom theme?

is there a way to change the font size of axis labels and value labels in the charts (e.g. bar chart), without going down the customized theme route ? this is crucial for my use case since the dashboard users need to export the report to PDF. the default font size is way too small.

If you go to presentation -> styling within your bar chart you should be able to switch to the chart tab and change the font sizes, see below:

Changing font sizes in Qlik charts without custom themes is limited but not impossible—basic adjustments are available in the “Appearance” or “Presentation” sections of most chart settings. A similar concern is discussed here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Catalog-and-Lineage/How-to-change-font-size-in-charts-without-using-cu..., where export readability was a key issue. Ensuring font clarity is essential for effective communication in exported reports. In dashboards that present structured data like a food menu, proper font sizing enhances both on-screen and PDF viewing. Consistent formatting ensures a seamless user experience across formats

Hi hokenbo2,

Currently, Qlik does not provide a direct way to change the font size of axis labels and value labels in charts without using custom themes. The default options in the chart properties offer limited control over font sizes, especially for exports like PDFs. However, you can try adjusting the overall scaling settings of the dashboard or explore the use of container objects to better manage space and readability. For more advanced customization, custom themes remain the most reliable method to precisely control font sizes and styles.
