How do you "follow" community activity

Hi,

I have now been using the Qlikview community for some time, but wondering if there are any good ways/tools to read the posts in here? I have set up RSS feeds in Outlook from the relevant groups, but I find it very cumbersome to basically have either open each RSS post to get into the forums or from the community web site have to click to open every single post to see it with all the comments.

I remember "the good old days" with newgroups and news readers where you had everything in the news reader and where you just could expand or collapse every single thread to easily see the full thread. A lot of companies have moved to web communities, but I must say that I've never found it as easy to follow as with the old newsgroups - but maybe I've just never found a clever way to do it..:-).

Maybe some of you have some good tips and tricks?

Regards

Steen

Not sure if this is what you need, but I just use the "Follow" button on the top right.  Select the methods you want to be notified.

Hi Michael,

It's not exactly what I'm looking for and maybe the wording "follow" in my question is a little bit misleading. Maybe "monitor" would be better, becuause what I'm looking for is more a way to see new posts to groups in the community - without having to use RSS feeds and/or have a webbrowser open.

I'm simply just after some tips on how others find out what's being asked in a specific group, but maybe there aren't any other ways?

You can "follow" any group or whole QlikView or Qlik Sense the same way as a separate discussion.  Maybe there are other ways but I don't know for sure

Hi,

Go to home page and scroll to the section you want to follow, i.e. QlikView Discussions then click on Get a feed of this content. It takes you to another page then click on Subscribe to this feed. Try that

Another good way to pick up tips is blogs and AskQV gives an index to blog post in reverse posting date order.

Thanks for yout input everyone. I'm already using feeds, but just wondered if there was any "smarter" ways to monitor what going on in the different groups -  but apparently that's the best option.
