Hello all 

This is the Qlik Community Help discussions board, where you can ask questions about the new platforms' features and functions. 

But if you have a Product related question, please read on: 

In order to get the fastest and most relevant responses to your questions, we recommend you post all product related questions in the individual products' discussion boards. 
You access them through the panel out to the left hand side of the page. 

Click "Qlik Products".

Then choose the product best suited for your question

Continue to post questions in the individual discussion boards for the product you're interested in.

Thanks!  I was wondering where the various product forums were broken out at.

Noted several users posting issues in the wrong place and I think this is related to emphasis of Community Help  Icon at the toolbar in the left and in the main page. My suggestion:

The main page could shown 3 main tiles for  Qlik Sense , Qlikview  and Qlik Products, and below them a new row for qlik community help , qlik company and Blogs.

In the toolbar, maybe the community Help need to be at bottom and the first one be "Qlik Products Discussion".

Maybe this could help to minimize the confusion...

Thanks for the input @pablolabbe. We are literally having exactly these discussions, so there will be changes to the layout of certain areas of the Community in a day or two.

Yes, I agree this is causing some confusion and as Mattias mentioned we are evaluating. Making changes too fast may have a ripple effect elsewhere why we move carefully (which hopefully won't be interpreted as moving too slow). I do agree with most of what you are saying.

Some people may be reading your message when it's already too late. It would be good if you could add a short explanation about how to move a wrongly placed post to the right area/forum. Or maybe add a new Help article and refer to it with a link at the end of your Note..

 

Then people not only know that they were wrong, but also what they can do about it.

Another option could be to add some sort of warning on the 'New Question' page, that way you might stop some people before they even create the post. Even better would be if you could change the forum you're submitting to on that page as well, so you can fix your mistake on the spot. I'm thinking something similar to Reddit where you can pick which Subreddit to post to while creating a post.

Not sure if any of this is even possible on this platform though.

Hi Matt,

I can't find a Tab for 'Qlik NPrinitng' in the Qlik Product Boards. Unless it is already placed somewhere else!

Is this not the right place for it?
