for a new project I need to connect Qlik Sense SaaS with SAP Hana (on-premise). In the past years when I worked with Qlik Sense for windows (on prem) I generally used the SAP NetWeaver connector.
For Qlik Sense SaaS I checked that there is an additional way to connect SAP HANA using the JDBC connector, but I have a doubt:
How can the Qlik Tenant communicate with SAP HANA on-prem? Does the DB need to be exposed on a public address or is there another method? doesn't this create potential security issues?
Otherwise the alternative is to use Qlik Data Transfer with the SAP NetWeaver connector, correct?
