Creating Qlik Cloud Connectors (KeySurvey)

I'd like to use a connector for a product we have called KeySurvey.  I'm never set up a connector and feel like I am jumping into the deep end.  Is there a step-by-step for this?  A white paper?  or has someone else done this?

I am assuming there's a cost for each pull.  Our users want the data pulled every hour sometimes and I want to know how much that is, because the frequency tends to make our costs jump.  Does anyone have any costing tools or suggestions for that before going full-steam ahead on this project?

I hate to say it, but for us it might be cheaper just to automate moving the csv files to where Qlik will pick them up rather than a direct connector.

Hi @Crichter141,

I see the KeySurvey has some APIs: https://www.keysurvey.com/survey-software/api-integration/. Have to tried those?

Also I don't see any problem if you Automate an Export process. You could, for example, export the CSV files to a folder monitored by Qlik DataTransfer. Qlik DataTransfer will upload these CSV files straight to Qlik Cloud, keeping in sync the data you have in Cloud with your on-prem folder. Qlik DataTransfer is a free tool. For more details: https://help.qlik.com/en-US/cloud-services/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/QlikDataTransfer/install...

Hi Mark,

Thank you.

On Prem, we are using a connector to pull the survey and create a CSV file.  That file is being moved to a location that both our Prem and Cloud applications can access (right now we're moving to the cloud so we have both).  It's not ideal, but it works.

The issue I'm seeing is the Rest connector we have on Prem does not work in the Cloud. From what I see it's not set up the same and I really don't understand what the differences represent.  Update:  Spoke to our partner and it's the redirect that Cloud isn't allowing.  Using their words because I truly don't understand it.

We went back to our partner to get the Key Survey connector a try.  The old process had us updating 3 survey Id's and the new one has that, plus hardcoding all the questions and answers manually.  A lot of manual work, but the results are still lacking.

Once we get a final solution I'll update this.  I keep thinking I can't be the only one struggling with this change.  Again thank you.
