We deployed Qlik Sense Enterprise on a VM provided by VMLogic, a private cloud services provider. We were able to install Qlik Sense Enterprise on the virtual server provided and loaded data locally on the server. However, we couldn't load the data successfully into Qlik Sense Enterprise server after several attempts. We found out that the error happens randomly on tables that even got successfully loaded in previous loads. As a check on the VM, we carried out data loading on Qlik cloud from the same file on the VMLogic virtual server and it was successful.
The error message whenever the loading timed out is:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object...
We researched the community KB and applied the suggested solution of connecting to the database using OLE DB connection instead of direct SQL connection but this too didn't work on the VMLogic virtual server.
Now I want to know this. Apart from the recommended cloud platforms, AWS and Azure (and to some extent Google Cloud), can one deploy Qlik Sense Enterprise on a private cloud?
