Hi guys, I must be missing something obvious, latest install Qlik Sense Enterprise February 2019 version on Windows Server 2019, when I add a new connection (either from script or data manager) I can't find the connection to folders to load Excel, QVD, etc.
Is this some server setting/authorization? I'm puzzled, this should be so simple.
Ps: License is new on subscription model
TIA
This is strange, If you are the root admin you must all connections which available for software. Could you check, If there is any security rule blocking this? I would ask @marcus_sommer to help.
Are you not seeing "Data Files" after create the connection? Can you show image of that
I don't have a way to create the connection, there is no option. I can attach files, add dropbox, database, web, etc. all the connection type but simply there is no button or option like "All files" where you point to a server folder (or share) and then you can select a flat file to load.
Ps: So that you can then use load from or store from "LIB://"
Is there a way that we can see image?
Yes, I called customer and asked to take a screen shot of "Create Connection", one from the script and other from Data Manager (pdf attached)
